Pam Bondi Confirms Epstein Files Are Being Reviewed

United States Attorney General Pam Bondi has confirmed that files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s client list are currently on her desk for review, along with documents concerning the assassinations of former President John F. Kennedy and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

In an interview on Fox News Channel’s America Reports, Bondi was asked by host John Roberts about her previous mention of the Department of Justice (DOJ) potentially releasing documents tied to Epstein’s client list. Roberts also noted that President Donald Trump had previously discussed this possibility.

“Will the DOJ actually release the list of Epstein’s clients?” Roberts inquired.

Bondi responded, “It’s sitting on my desk right now to review. That’s been a directive from President Trump. I’m reviewing that, I’m reviewing JFK files, MLK files. All of these are in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the president – from all of these agencies.”

Earlier in January, Trump signed an executive order declassifying records related to the assassinations of JFK, his brother Robert F. Kennedy, and MLK Jr.

When Roberts asked if Bondi had come across anything particularly shocking in the files, she replied, “Not yet.”

According to The New York Post, Bondi emphasized that “Trump doesn’t make empty promises,” underscoring the “promises made, promises kept” mantra.

Bondi also mentioned that her work was in line with Trump’s directive of enhancing national safety and prosperity.

In a separate interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, Trump had previously shared that he would be “inclined” to release Epstein’s client list.

Unsealed court documents from January 2024, which were part of a 2015 lawsuit filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, shed light on some of those connected to the disgraced financier. Among the names mentioned in the documents were former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.
