The Fortins decided to keep the triplet news a secret

“We had been so open about our struggles with infertility,” Desiree explained. “So many people—our friends, church, and family—had supported us. We wanted to give them a moment of pure joy.”

A few close friends and Desiree’s mother were in on the secret, offering emotional support throughout the pregnancy. As a newborn photographer, Desiree had spent years capturing special moments for other families while silently longing for her own.

“It wasn’t always easy,” she admitted. “Anyone who has faced infertility knows the little heartbreaks along the way. But being around babies gave me hope. It reminded me that one day, this could be us.”

That long-awaited day finally arrived, and the Fortins planned a gender reveal with an extra surprise

At the party, the couple opened two boxes, releasing pink and blue balloons that revealed the first two babies’ genders. Cheers erupted as their guests celebrated.

Then, just as everyone thought the big reveal was over, Ryan turned to the crowd with a knowing smile.

“Hold on,” he said. “We’re not done yet.”

A third box was brought out, and as Desiree and Ryan opened it, a final set of balloons confirmed their third baby’s gender.
