Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, one of the most well-known couples in Hollywood, are leaving Los Angeles after experiencing two scary break-ins at their home.
Hawn shared on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera, that they had to think about moving to safer places like Palm Desert because crime rates in Los Angeles are going up.
She talked about how frightening it was when burglars broke into their house and even took valuable items by smashing through a locked door.
Just four months later, they faced another break-in, which made Hawn feel really anxious and on edge all the time.
These events are part of a bigger trend of high-profile break-ins in 2024 that have also affected other celebrities like Corinna Kopf and King Bach.
Because of this, the couple started to rethink their future in Los Angeles. Hawn mentioned that the city’s appeal no longer made up for the risks, so they chose to prioritize their safety and peace over the glamorous lifestyle.
