In today’s world, we have a lot of freedom to express ourselves in different ways, as long as it makes sense. While there are some rules, most people can try out new trends, hairstyles, and clothing more than ever before in history.
This is a positive thing because no one should be judged or treated badly for how they choose to dress or decorate their bodies. Whether it’s a unique outfit, a piercing, or a tattoo, everyone should be free to make those choices, as long as they aren’t promoting hate or negativity.
However, there are still some limits to what people are willing to accept when it comes to body modifications and self-expression. A good example is Anthony Loffredo, a 35-year-old man who seems to have pushed those boundaries.
Whenever Anthony goes out, he attracts a lot of attention from everyone around him. Unfortunately, he struggles to get job interviews, and taxi drivers often refuse to pick him up. Some places won’t even let him inside.
Anthony Loffredo, a guy from France, is on a wild journey to transform himself into what he calls the “black alien.” You might wonder why he’s doing this. Well, it’s all about his desire to become something completely different.
While many people might think getting crazy tattoos, unusual piercings, or bright hair colors is adventurous, Loffredo has taken it to a whole new level. He has actually had his nose removed, both ears cut off, his skin and eyeballs tattooed black, his tongue split, his teeth filed down, and even two of his fingers surgically taken away.
He’s also gone as far as having demonic symbols burned into his skin and horns implanted under his flesh to look more monstrous.
According to the Daily Mail, Loffredo, who used to be a nightclub bouncer, says he’s only about 65 percent done with all the changes he wants to make. One of his future plans includes cutting off one of his legs to replace it with a biomechanical one.
Before he started all these surgeries, the 35-year-old shared with a UK Channel 4 show that he felt happy but didn’t feel like he was in the right body. He said, “It wasn’t my body, my real body.”
In a chat with the Club 113 podcast, he shared, “I’m really interested in everything about the human body. It’s just so fascinating to me.”
He mentioned that his unique style is influenced by many things because there’s so much out there that people don’t know about.
Even though his appearance is quite extreme, the “black alien” said his parents eventually supported his choices after being surprised at first. Plus, he’s found a partner; last December, it was revealed that he’s dating Melina Shakur, a model who loves tattoos.
Loffredo often has to travel to different countries for certain procedures since they aren’t allowed where he lives. According to the Daily Mail, these surgeries sometimes involve going under general anesthesia in secret clinics and tattoo shops.
A member of the extreme body modifications community recently shared that he doesn’t plan to undergo any more procedures for now. He mentioned, “Right now, I am going to focus on something real, not more on how to live life.”
Additionally, he and his girlfriend, Melina Shakur, have talked about the possibility of him removing some of his tattoos.
We wish him the best as he moves forward. His appearance is definitely one-of-a-kind, and even though it might be seen as unusual, the most important thing is that he feels happy with himself.
